Garden of Hopes and Dreams is the 11th track of the DELTARUNE Chapter 5 OST. It is a remixed version of Field of Hopes and Dreams, and plays in the Garden area of the Flower Kingdom.
On the 17th of November 2018, a few weeks after the release of Chapter 1, Carlos "insaneintherainmusic" Eiene released his jazz cover of Field of Hopes and Dreams. Eventually, Toby Fox asked him to officially use his cover for Chapter 5, prompting him to create an arrangement of it.[1] Eiene is credited in Garden of Hopes and Dreams as the song's arranger and performer.
A few days after the release of Chapter 5, Eiene uploaded his official performance video of the song to his YouTube channel.
- This track, alongside Chapter 1's original Field of Hopes and Dreams, are the only ones to have their titles displayed in-game, outside of Sweet Cap'n Cakes's Music Room in Castle Town and the Rock Video minigame. The name appears in the middle-right side of the screen after first entering Garden, though it uses the title "The Garden of Hopes and Dreams" here, which is slightly different from the title used in the OST.
- Its appearance in this fashion is most likely a reference to the Touhou Project series, where song names appear at the start of levels in a very similar way. In particular, the specific formatting of the song name being preceded with a music note when it appears is similar to how song names are formatted in The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
- The first 34 seconds of the track only play when entering the Garden for the first time. Every time after, the track starts from the 34 second mark and loops back to that point.
