Rakuichi Buster is the 12th track of the DELTARUNE Chapter 5 OST. It plays during standard enemy encounters in Chapter 5. It is a remix of Rude Buster.
Rakuichi Buster originated as a keyboard cover of Ruder Buster by the YouTube channel らくいち (Rakuichi), on the 6th of November 2018.[1] Compared to the final version, the bassline and majority of the drums are missing. On the 2nd of March 2019, an extended version was made, which included the variant with the bass and drum at the end.[2]
This segment of Rakuichi Buster appeared in the DELTARUNE Chapter 2 Nintendo Switch Announcement Trailer in 2021, making it one of the earliest teased fan-arranged tracks.[3] This would later go on to be the main segment used in-game, with an additional section at the end arranged by Toby.[4]
- This track is one of five tracks that are labeled as work-in-progress in the filename, despite being the final, in-game, version of the track. The other four tracks to share this distinction are BIG SHOT, Gingerbread House, Dark Sanctuary, and Petal Dance.
- The in-game version of this track skips the first seven seconds from the version in the DELTARUNE Chapter 5 OST.
