Inappropriate Recycling is the 2nd track of the DELTARUNE Chapter 5 OST. It plays during the optional fight against the Trashy Trio in Castle Town. It is an arrangement of Checker Dance with the same tempo and several shared instruments, and the first few measures are identical.

Trivia

• This is the second track to contain THE WORLD REVOLVING leitmotif in a context unrelated to a Shadow Crystal boss, the other being AIRWAVES.
  • During the battle, the leitmotif is referred to as "the BATTAT motif" by the Green Pippins who runs the Battat minigame as Small Mike in Chapter 4. In the Nintendo Switch 2 version, he refers to it as "the AIR WAVES motif". This is alluding to its similarly unusual presence in the theme song of those minigames.
• Due to these two facts, it may be inferred that the song is alluding to the recycled nature of the battle: The enemies are minor NPCs from Chapter 2, the scene takes place in the bakery instead of the battle dojo, and the battle ends because a different minor NPC trio interrupts the fight.
• The title of the song seems to be a pun on its use, as it is a "recycled" melody from Checker Dance, but "inappropriately" used in a battle where K. Round isn't present, while also referring to the nature of Trashy as a garbage can.
