Pink Coins(日:ピンクコイン) (P$) is a hidden a currency scattered in the Flower Kingdom during Chapter 5 of Deltarune. A total of 19 exists, which can be obtained from pink chests and pink bells in the platforming sections of the game.
Pink Coins can be used to buy the MysteryKey for 10 Pink Coins in the Cliffs Shop, which is used to open the Pink Door in Flower Castle.
After defeating Pink, the flower items can be purchased from the 7 Colored Flowers, excluding the FloweryScarf for 3 Pink Coins and 100 Flowery Dollars. Only a total of three flower items are available: after the third is purchased, the only flower item available becomes the FloweryScarf, which is offered for F$1.
If Pink has been defeated and Ferroll has been found in the Cliffs, Ferroll appears in the Pink fight room, and offers to find the pink coins that the player has missed for 50 Flowery Dollars. Ferroll only tells the amount of coins missing in each area (e.g. "4 in Garden"), but does not give exact locations.
| Area | Description | Image |
|---|---|---|
| Garden | ||
| Scissor crossway | Needs the watering can to be used on the west side of the scissor crossway room, which is two rooms left from the shortcut door near Hopschef. | |
| Shrine | Enable platforming, then go left of the Shrine of the Petal Feather and jump up to the top of the beanstalk, then jump right offscreen to land on the Shrine's roof. Go right again and jump to land on top on a leaf. | |
| Way Home | Enable platforming from the platswap statue past the Way Home shortcut door, then take the dash gate on the left side. | |
| Hopschef's room | To the right of Hopschef, enable platforming mode and head to the right, and climb up top to a stray floating isle to reach Tropical Starwalker Bird's room. Use the dash gate to reach the right side, where Tropical Starwalker Bird will drop the pink coin chest after hitting the bell. | |
| Cliffs | ||
| (First Climb) | After the first platforming segment of the cliffs, drop down from the platform with the second statue, then ride Ralsei's vine back up. Jump off to the alcove on the left, halfway up. | |
| (First Climb) | In the room immediately after the previous coin, go left and do the climbing segment. After reaching the ledge with the cave, interact with the ears sticking out of the soil to reveal more vines, and climb up again and across. Get pushed down the vines by the water and collect the coin along the way. | |
| (Netskie Climb) | In the Cliffs' room with two pinwheels to the right of the shop (or down the petal vortex next to the Netskie Climb Door, if backtracking), hit the left pinwheel and drop down. There are platforms on the cliff face at the bottom left; jump down them and use Ralsei to ride to the right on the vine hooks. Follow the cave up to the pink coin. | |
| (Netskie Climb) | The player is required to use the dash gate before Aqua and Seth's bullet hell room to dash into the room after, then jump into the alcove. Only available via revisit without abusing exploits. | |
| Flower Castle | ||
| Castle front | Push the five Terakota statues off the ledges in the room to the right of the Flower Cafe. Then, go through the castle's east entrance (from the Castle Foyer Door, down, right, up) and push them onto the pressure plates. | |
| Flower Cafe path, east wing |
Follow the path up after the previous pink coin, and open the pink chest behind the paper wall. Alternatively, in the room to the right of the cafe, go to the top-right of the area behind the paper wall. | |
| (Mysterious Puzzle) | At the top right of the room that has the Mysterious Puzzle shortcut door. | |
| (East/Mysterious Puzzle) | In the room after beating Orange's introductory bullet pattern, deflect a fist into the paper wall on the middle-right of the vertical path to open a passageway, then deflect another fist into the pink paper lantern. | |
| (East/Foyer) | The pink coin is in the room to the left of the fake Aqua, immediately after the second diner, as a reward for collecting all 5 foxes. To find the foxes:
|
|
| (East/Foyer) | In the mysterious puzzle room just above and to the left of the fake-Aqua room, move the platforms to gain the maximum possible height, as the coin is at the top of the room. | |
| (East/Foyer) | From the Castle Foyer, go up the eastern leaf staircase and walk on the walkway through Orange's door.
In the room with Orange's door, take the exit on the bottom right, then take the mushrooms to their respective holes. The second mushroom is a timed challenge, as a fox will appear and eat it. |
|
| Yellow's show, west wing |
At the Left Doors room, and enter both of Yellow's Delta Rune doors. Activate the platswap statue on the west side, then go east to a room that has two sets of yellow boost flowers, with the second set requiring the flowers to be hit from above to reach the pink bell. | |
| Blue's door, west wing |
Enter from the Left Doors room, then take the south staircase, check the platswap statue, and successfully dodge all the Shinobeetle's shurikens. | |
| Top of Castle | ||
| (Green Shop) | Go left at the top of the big platforming room where Susie and Ralsei act independently, then continue all the way to the left of the room. The coin is located after a platforming challenge with yellow flowers. If the sequence is too difficult, it is possible to abuse the [C] button to make frame-perfect inputs. | |
| (Pink's Room) | Dropping down from the previous pink coin room in the spot with a golden coin, complete the falling platforming challenge to get to the pink door and the last pink coin. | |
The amount of Pink Coins is stored in the Save Data under the line 1865. Note that increasing the counter does not let one purchase all items: once all 9 remaining coins from purchasing the key are used to buy 3 items, the remaining ones disappear to make room for the FloweryScarf.
- In Castle Town, the Hacker tells the party to "obby for pink coins" for "catgirl time" if interacted with twice, foreshadowing their existence.
- ↑ It seems that there are no more pink shards. - Blue, Chapter 5
