蜂蜜吐司

The Honey Toast（日：はちみつトースト） is a Light World item found in the Dreemurr residence in Chapter 5. It is unobtainable in the Weird Route.

It can be given to Toriel after Kris wakes up, and if it is still in the inventory when you enter the school for the first time, Kris will eat it. If it is thrown away, and then Toriel is spoken to afterwards, Toriel will scold Kris for wasting the food. If Kris flushes the toilet with the toast in the inventory, Toriel will yell at Kris and tell them not to flush her toast. After giving it to Asgore by using it near him and interacting with Toriel, Kris will tell her that they "don't remember" where the toast is.

On the Weird Route, although the Honey Toast does not appear as an item, it is depicted on the Dreemurrs' dining table made by Toriel for Kris. This toast cannot be consumed and returns a blank dialogue box upon inspection, like most other narration in the Dreemurr residence on the Weird Route.

Trivia

• Asgore mentioning that "crumbs [come] in handy" is likely a reference to Chapter 5's Weird Route Bread item. Said item also likely references the Bread/Bread Crumbs item from MOTHER/EarthBound Beginnings and its associated wrong warp glitch.
